What is Digital J&K?
The goal of the Digital J&K programme is to digitise J&K and make the UT more advanced in all areas. The programme aims to help people in remote areas get government services. Without the right technology, it’s hard to figure out what’s going on in remote areas. So, the digital J&K movement was started to meet the needs of all UT residents.
For the Digital J&K mission to be successful, people need to know how to use and benefit from digitalization. Because of this, the government should pay more attention to digital literacy. Desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones should be given to people in rural areas to help them learn how to use technology.

The Indian government set up a network called Bharat Broadband Network Limited, which is mostly used in rural areas. The main goal of this network is to give high-speed internet to all of the country’s 2,50,500 gramme panchayats.
