How the Dog Found Himself a New Master!
Summary
Dogs used to be their own masters, but one day one decided that he needed to serve someone who was stronger than him and could supply him with food and shelter.
He came across a large, aggressive, and powerful wolf. The wolf consented to be the dog’s master after the dog requested it. The two were walking together when the wolf detected the scent of a bear. He bolted from the scene, terrified.
The dog then approached the bear, who was stronger than the wolf, and asked to be his master. The bear agreed, and the two continued on their way. They came across a herd of cows. The bear was about to butcher a cow to feed when they were abruptly stopped by a noise. The cows began to moo in terror. The bear instructed the dog to flee as soon as possible. He was terrified of the jungle’s monarch, the lion.
The dog then requested that the lion serve as his master. The lion agreed, and they lived happily ever after until the lion smelt a man in the forest and warned the dog to run away with him or they would both be in trouble. As a result, the dog bid the Lion farewell.
The dog then went to the man and declared him to be his master. Since then, the dog has faithfully served man and has no other master.
