The Ant and the Grasshopper

The ant worked hard, all summer long 
While the grasshopper sang his song
The ant stored up, food for the winter
While the grasshopper had no printer

When the snow fell and the cold winds blew
The grasshopper had no place to go
He went to the ant, for a bit of help
But the ant said "I stored for myself"

So the grasshopper learned his lesson
To work hard and plan for the next session

The Tortoise and the Hare

The hare was fast, and full of pride 
He thought he'd easily win the race, he tried

But the tortoise, steady and slow
Won the race, you know

The hare learned, not to underestimate
And to always give your best, don't hesitate

The Boy who Cried Wolf

A boy who lived in a village, once upon a time 
He liked to play pranks, and cause a climb

He cried "Wolf! Wolf!", when there was none
But when a real wolf came, no one believed, it was done

The villagers learned, to not take his word
And the boy learned, to be truthful and heard

The Goose that Laid the Golden Eggs

A farmer had a goose, that laid a golden egg
He thought it was a gift, to be kept and beg

But in his greed, he killed the goose
And realized, there were no more golden eggs to loose

The farmer learned, to be content with what he had
And not to greed, for more to add

The Little Engine that Could

A little engine, had to climb a hill 
It doubted itself, but it had the will

It said "I think I can, I think I can"
And it did, with determination and a plan

The little engine learned, that with hard work and belief It can achieve, anything with relief

The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing

A wolf, disguised as a sheep
He infiltrated the flock, and pretended to sleep

The other sheep trusted him, and didn't suspect
But the wolf's true colors, soon they will detect

The sheep learned, not to trust everyone
And to be aware, of those who are not true, and shun

The Fox and the Grapes

A fox saw grapes, hanging from a vine
He wanted them badly, but they were too high to climb

He convinced himself, that the grapes were sour
But deep down he knew, it was just a power

The fox learned, it's easier to hate something you can't have
Than to admit you want it bad
