About Me
Welcome to Smart English Notes! My name is Mohammad Afzal Mir, and I am the founder and creator of this website. As a General Line Teacher in the Department of Education, Jammu and Kashmir, I have been teaching English as a second language for almost a decade now.
I have always been passionate about teaching and helping others, which is what inspired me to create this website. At Smart English Notes, we provide a comprehensive range of learning resources related to English language and literature. From summaries and analyses of poems and short stories etc to grammar guides, student essays, letters, and Q&A sessions, we offer everything you need to learn and improve your English skills.
I am a science graduate from GDC Bemina, Srinagar, and have pursued a B.Ed at Tahira Khanum College of Education, Lawaypora, Srinagar. Additionally, I hold master’s degrees in English Language and Literature and Sociology from IGNOU and an M.Ed from Kashmir University. My educational background, combined with my passion for teaching and writing, has allowed me to create content that is easy to understand and engaging for students of all ages.
I believe that education is the most powerful tool that we have, and I am committed to using my expertise and knowledge to help students learn and improve their English language and literature skills. Our Mission
Smart English Notes has set out a plan to make a distinction within the lives of students. Our goal is to assist all kinds of students even the most disadvantaged ones to crack the hardest of exams. In this endeavour, we committed to starting Smart English Notes and its sister site Smart eNotes which provide unique high-quality self-instructional materials and steerage to the scholars who appear in the competitive exams. Smart English Notes and its sister site were created keeping the same goal in mind, that is, to give the students every input and guidance they need to outshine at their highest potential. We provide the most relevant and up-to-date notes and our notes are absolutely free. We also answer your questions and provide you a platform where you can share your knowledge with others.
We provide you with the notes in simple and easy language. We do not like to use intricate, bawdy and complicated words. Our answers to the questions, summaries and analysis of both poetry and prose are written in simple language so that the students can easily understand and learn things. We do not want to waste the time of the students in reading and rereading the things. We want the students shall understand things only in one reading and only what they actually desire.
